The Human Resource Information Technology Support area is responsible for serving the technology needs of HRS and maintaining the security for HRS applications and reports. 

Functions of the office include:

  • Manage and Maintain HRS Computing Resources
    • Update all HRS computing resources with the latest NIU issued applications
    • Keep all HRS computing resources free from infectious software ensuring the safest environment possible
  • Manage and Maintain the HRS Website
    • Including the SURS website and both regular and student employment databases
  • Assist in Maintaining Security and Access to the Human Resource PeopleSoft System
    • Works closely with the PeopleSoft Security team to maintain security
  • Provide Security Access to HRS Technological Resources and Reports to campus
