Job Description
Event Production Services (EPS) is a student-run production service at NIU. EPS is looking for new crew members to assist in the production of a wide range of events including, but not limited to, concerts, fashion shows, and dances. We produce over 120 events a year for the University, many of which are sponsored by the Campus Activities Board, Student Association and Residence Hall Association.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate would be a hard working individual who likes to have fun, is mild-mannered, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Although cash handling, event production, Sound/Stage/Lighting is a plus, you do not need to have had any experience. Most training will be done on the job. MUST be able to lift 50 lbs. Good communication & e-mail skills are a plus.
Flexibility is mandatory. Hours are not consistent, and are only available when there are contracted events.
Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Northern Illinois University.
Pay Rate: $ 8.25/hr (minimum wage)

Important Note About this Job
Although we do put on events through out the year, they can often be sporadic and any applicant needs to have a flexible schedule. EPS cannot guarantee a set number of hours each day, week, month or semester. Opportunities for advancement are available.
Applications are now being accepted for possible employment for the FALL 2013 semester, NOT Summer 2013. Interviews will be held over the Summer.
