America Reads Tutor

Tutors work one-on-one for 50 minute sessions with elementary school students ( K4-5th grade) once a week at the Literacy Clinic. IT Assistant

The student workers will assist and interact with non-NIU Instructors, Industry Partners, and Teacher Delegates (Middle and High School Teachers attending this Camp) with set up (facilities and equipment), demonstrations, lab experiments, clean up, and inventory in Structure/Properties and Materials Analysis Laboratories (EB143) and in the classroom/demonstration area (EB354 & 358). Student Workers will act as hosts/tour guides representing NIU and CEET. Student Workers will be able to sit in on the camp and learn about Engineering Materials (Metals, Ceramics, Polymers, and Composites) when not needed elsewhere. Camp is approximately equivalent to a 2-1/2 semester hour Materials Engineering Course. Good addition to a resume.

Evening Smart Classroom tech support
