The Operating Staff Services (OSS) department is responsible for the administration of civil statutory policies and the maintenance of related programs including qualification screening, test, maintenance of registers, referral procedures, classification, compensation, affirmative action, employee relations, and training/development.

Functions of the office include:

  • Recruitment of Applicants for Employment Opportunities
  • Coordination of Employment Processes
  • Conduct Applicant Assessment Interviews
  • Civil Service Examinations
  • Referral of Candidates for Vacancies
  • Administer Compensation Plan
  • Classification of Positions
  • Counseling for Promotional Opportunities and Career Advancement
  • Employee Relations Assistance for Civil Service Employees and Supervisors
