Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Speech-Language Pathology

Required Skills
Successful candidates will hold a Ph.D. in speech-language pathology or a closely related discipline, a current CCC-SLP and be eligible for Illinois state licensure in speech-language pathology. Areas of specialization include Language Development and Disorders, particularly school-age. Evidence of higher education teaching, research and clinical experiences are desirable.

Responsibilities
The major responsibilities a will be to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in speech-language pathology in areas of expertise and interest, develop a personal research program, direct student research, and participate in clinical education of students. Faculty members also participate in departmental, college, and university committee work.

Materials

Starting date is negotiable. Usual contract will be for the nine-month academic year (August-May). Summer teaching is often available.
