Required Skills
Appropriate certification/licensure in the state of Illinois as an advanced practice nurse, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant.

Before any offer of employment is made, the University will conduct a pre-employment criminal background investigation, which includes a criminal background check.

Preferred Skills
Experience in primary care is preferred

Responsibilities
Mid-Level Provider (APN, NP, PA) for NIU Tri-County Community Health Center (TCCHC), a rural health clinic in Malta, Illinois (6 miles west of the NIU campus). The clinic is a nationally recognized model for the delivery of health care using mid-level providers to provide care to TCCHC clients. This part-time, extra help, licensed, professional position has flexible hours and will start immediately. The clinic is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
