Job Description
***Math Instructor: Upward Bound Program (16 hrs. per week M-R 8:00-12:00pm) Responsibilities: Teach high school algebra, geometry, trigonometry and college algebra ***Mathematics Instructor: College Bridge Responsibilities: Teach upper level high school math courses ***Workshop Instructors: (8-10 hrs. per week M-W) Responsibilities: Conduct evening or afternoon workshop in art, music, dance, sports activities, study skills, career exploration, photography computer science or other areas of interest workshops.

Requirements
University faculty or instructor, certified teacher, or graduate student with 15hrs.beyond the bachelor's degree in subject area teaching. Workshop positions require a bachelor's degree and experience in area of interest. All positions are designated security sensitive positions. In compliance with the Illinois Campus Security Act, the university will conduct a pre-employment background investigation which includes a criminal background check.

Starting Date: June 22, 2009

Duration: June -July 2009

Positions Available: 4-6

Work Type: Regular Position Only

Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience
