Technology Support Assistant

Job Description
Student wanted to work in the College of Education Technology Support Office 15 to 20 hours per week. Student will assist this office by installing hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware and software problems. Student will also assist with inventory, paperwork, and other responsibilities as required by the office. This position involves no computer programming.

Requirements
Job requires a highly reliable individual who is detailed oriented. Candidates must have the ability to lift 35lbs. Previous experience is preferable but not essential. The student will be trained on the job. Some evening and weekend hours may be required. Excellent customer service and communications skills must be exhibited by a successful candidate.

Starting Date: September 15, 2009

Duration: 2009-2010 School year and may be extended

Positions Available: 2

Work Type: Workstudy Only

Pay Rate: 8.00/hour
