Job Description This position will be responsible for working with students in the DeKalb School District, specifically with the grades K-5. The work will mostly be in basic mathematics but a focus other than mathematics could be provided by the teacher. Requirements One must be able to work effectively with young children, communicate with school faculty and staff and maintain professionalism at all times. There is availability between 9am - 3pm with possible openings for an after school program. In applications please give us schedule openings not class times. Starting Date: May 01, 2009 Duration: Fall/Spring/Possible Summer Positions Available: 10 Work Type: Workstudy Only Pay Rate: $8.50 IMPORTANT NOTE: Minimum $1,500 in Federal Work Study eligibility; Available both the fall and spring and summer semester; Pass a criminal background check; Speak, read, and write fluently in English--bilingual a plus. Must have reliable transportation; available to work 2 hour shifts; and be in good academic standing with the university.
