Coffee Hour Programs

Dealing with new experiences or concerns? YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! There are others on campus that are going through similar experiences as you. The Employee Assistance Program and Training Center is pleased to offer weekly Coffee Hours taking place on Fridays beginning in October and running through December.

Join your peers for discussions that focus on the issues and challenges you face while taking away some helpful information and tools for coping.

Coffee Hours will alternate subject matters to reach faculty and staff across campus and are offered in a nonjudgmental and confidential space at the Holmes Student Center. This semester the focus areas are on 1) faculty who may be facing many stressors and pressures at NIU; 2) staff dealing with common experiences and concerns; 3) new employees or first generation employees; and 4) grief support.  Please RSVP at or call 753-9191.
