National Disabilities Mentoring Day/Forum

Invite a student to spend the morning in your department. The student will participate in job shadowing and other activities that you and the student choose. This experience allows you and the student a chance to share work experiences involving different capabilities and needs in a work place setting. Finally, join us at the Disability Forum-Wednesday, October 15th from 9-11 A.M. and 12-2 P.M. at the Campus Life Building, Room 100 to take part in dialogue with panel guest from the community and NIU students, refreshments, and hear participants share about the experiences in job shadowing in a department.
