The Operating Staff Council, in coordination with university administration, has scheduled an Operating Staff Appreciation Day (Staff Fest) for Thursday, August 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The university supports this activity as an important recognition event for our Operating Staff employees.
Accordingly, the university has authorized a 90-minute release period for Operating Staff employees who have requested tickets to attend the event. The 90-minute period should be considered inclusive of the lunch break, and Operating Staff attending the event are required to coordinate this absence with their supervisors.
The university encourages Operating Staff employees to participate in the luncheon event, and we appreciate the consideration of campus departments in making arrangements for Operating Staff who wish to attend.
