FY2025 Benefit Choice

The State of Illinois Department of Central Management Services (CMS) Benefit Choice period will extend from May 1, 2024 through May 31, 2024 with benefit elections effective July 1, 2024.

During the annual Benefit Choice Period, members may change health plans, add or drop dental or dependent coverage, make changes in life insurance coverage, and opt out or opt in to the group insurance program. 

What's New

• Premium contribution increases for all Health and Dental plans.
• Changes to health plan designs.
• Medical plan availability by county is changing.
• MCAP maximum contribution limit increasing to $3,200.
• MCAP rollover amount increasing to $640.
• HSA employee contribution limits increasing by $266.66 for individual coverage and $483.32 for family coverage.
