Help keep your NIU account and personal information safe from phishing attempts.
The Division of Information Technology's Office of Information Security helps you improve your ability to identify phishing emails. A short, 30-minute phishing training course is available to all students and can be accessed in Blackboard under the "Organizations" tab. The messages in this course regularly list the most recent phishing scams.
Volunteer at STEMFest 2023!
STEMfest is a free community event on September 30 that packs NIU’s Holmes Student Center with hands-on interactive exhibits and activities to help k-12 students, their families, and the community, to explore science, technology, engineering, art and math.
We need NIU students to help with everything from greeting visitors, to event set-up and tear-down, to working at one of our interactive displays, during a shift of your choosing. We rely on students to make this a fun and successful day for the community.
Students can sign up to volunteer at go.niu.edu/STEMFestVolunteer.
