But you’re not alone. We offer opportunities and resources to help you find balance and support.

Counseling and Consultation Services

The trained counselors and support professionals at Counseling and Consultation Services are committed to improving your mental health. Call 815-753-1206 to schedule an initial consultation. If you need immediate help or know a student who does, call 815-753-1206 at any time of day or night. Students also have access to Togetherall, a free online peer-to-peer round-the-clock support service.

Northwestern Medicine Student Health Center

The team of dedicated medical professionals at the Northwestern Medicine Student Health Center provide inclusive and thoughtful care. Call ahead to schedule an appointment: 815-306-2777.

Fitness Classes

Physical activity (like our fitness classes) is proven to reduce stress. The Recreation Center has something for everyone, from the competitive athlete to the novice exerciser. As a fee-paying student from the DeKalb campus, you’re automatically a Rec Center member for the current semester. Start by scheduling a free 30-minute orientation

Nutrition Coaching

Eating well is essential to feeling well. If you’re interested in working with a professional to develop a personalized plan, we offer customized nutrition coaching through the Recreation Center.
