Togetherall Offers Peer Mental Health Support Anywhere, Anytime

A new online service provides added support to NIU students facing challenges that come with being in college.

NIU Counseling and Consultation Services (CCS) recently added Togetherall to its suite of services. Togetherall is a peer-to-peer round-the-clock support service that allows you to speak to other college students, via an online chat, about things with which you are struggling. This could include home sickness, relationship issues, identity issues, roommate or parent conflicts, loss of a loved one and a variety of others. Togetherall peer educators are diverse college students, who are supervised by licensed medical professionals, and are trained to talk through a wide range of issues.

You can use Togetherall by visiting the CCS website or accessing the Togetherall website where you use your NIU email account to register and access the online chat function. The service is anonymous, supportive and safe, with mental health professionals monitoring the site 24/7.

Free to all NIU Students. No waiting lists. Join now and explore.
