Hi John. I have reviewed your request and discussed it with Tom, CC’d here.
Your request to work fully remotely, beginning 8/15/22, has been approved, with the understanding that you will come into the office/campus as needed for scheduled events/activities/appointments/meetings. We will give you reasonable advance notice (at least 24 hours) when requiring you to come to work on campus.
If you will be working out of state, be sure to follow up with Human Resource Services at the email address RemoteWork@niu.edu.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

We previously discussed the possibility of me transitioning to a fully remote work schedule. This email is to confirm a start date for that. I was thinking I could possibly start full remote work as of 8/15/22. I will come to campus/the office for events and other work-related tasks and utilize one of the hoteling spaces at the office as needed.
